1. General Scope
These terms govern all custom apparel manufacturing, OEM production runs, private-label services, and prototype development provided by Apparel Bar, based in Sialkot, Pakistan, to domestic and international clients.
2. Sampling & Prototype Development
- Pre-production samples (PPS) are constructed upon receipt of tech packs and sampling fee authorization.
- Sample fees generally cover pattern drafting, sample yardage procurement, printing/embroidery set-up, and courier dispatch.
- Sample costs are commonly credited back or deducted from the initial bulk invoice upon placement of the qualifying volume production run.
3. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)
MOQs are determined by fabric availability, dyeing requirements, and embellishment methods. Standard minimum runs generally start from 50 to 100 units per style/colorway, with flexibility for multi-size distribution. Custom yarn knits or custom mill-dyed pantone fabrics may necessitate higher quantities.
4. Manufacturing Tolerances
- Sizing Dimensions: In accordance with international textile industry norms, standard sewing tolerances are ±1.0 to ±1.5 cm across critical points of measurement (POM).
- Color Matching: While we endeavor to match Pantone (PMS) textile codes precisely, slight visual variances of ±5% may occur between screen mockups, digital sublimation, and reactive cotton dye lots.
- Quantity Variance: Standard export overrun/underrun allowance is ±3% to ±5% to accommodate fabric defect removals during cutting and final QC.
5. Payment Terms
Standard international export terms:
- Samples: 100% advance payment prior to pattern cutting and dispatch.
- Bulk Production: 50% deposit upon formal purchase order (PO) approval to begin fabric procurement and cutting; remaining 50% balance payable upon quality inspection completion and before final cargo dispatch from Sialkot.
- Accepted international payment methods include wire transfer (T/T), Letter of Credit (L/C) for qualifying volume orders, or agreed commercial channels.
6. Shipping & Incoterms
Shipments are dispatched according to agreed Incoterms:
- Door-to-Door Courier: DHL Express, FedEx, or UPS for urgent parcels and lightweight sports teamwear.
- Air Cargo / Sea Freight: Handled via Sialkot International Airport (SKT) or Karachi Seaport (FOB Karachi / CIF destination port) for commercial container cargo.
- Clients are responsible for any destination country import tariffs, duties, and local VAT taxes unless agreed on a DDP basis.
